How do I get the screenshot app?
Click "Install in Chrome" on this page: the extension installs from the Chrome Web Store in a few seconds and is ready right away — press the hotkey or click the icon and capture. The same extension works in Edge, Opera and Brave.
Is the screenshot tool free?
Yes. Capturing an area, a window or a full page, the editor with arrows and blur, copying to the clipboard, saving a file and the share link are all free.
Do I need an account?
No. The screenshot app captures, edits and gives you a link without an account. Sign up only if you want a history of your screenshots to manage them.
Is there a screenshot app for Windows and Mac?
Desktop apps for Windows and macOS are in the works: the same editor and hotkeys as the extension, plus capture of any window outside the browser. Status and details are on the platform pages.

Can I take a screenshot online, without installing anything?
Yes: the screenshot does not land as a file on your disk — it uploads straight to the server and opens by link in any browser, on a phone too.

Who can see my screenshots and where are they stored?
A screenshot copied to the clipboard or saved to disk never leaves your computer. A shared screenshot opens only for people who have the link: the address is random and cannot be guessed. Public screenshots taken without an account are kept for 30 days, then deleted.
